The Hermann Area District Hospital IT Committee is to provide leadership and assistance to the HADH community in the successful delivery to technology related projects by ensuring that each initiative is aligned with HADH strategic objectives and is completed on-time, within scope and budget.
Project Proposals To initiate a Project, please contact the Information Technology Director at the information to the right. The IT Committee is here to help facilitate the approval, planning, and implementation of your proposed technology-related project.
Implementing Technology Related Projects
Research shows that over 50% of Technology related projects fail to come in on-time, within budget, and scope. One goal of the HADH IT Committee is to help all technology-related projects to be successful by coming in on time, within budget, and scope. We really emphasize planning as a critical aspect of every project. The planning of a project should take approximately 33 % of the time required to complete a project. For every 1 hour spent planning, you will save 10 hours in implementation and 100 hours after you are live in a production environment. The same can be said for every 1 hour spent planning, you will save $10 in implementation and $100 after you are live in a production environment. Therefore, the IT Committee at HADH relies heavily on structured and proven processes to properly plan all technology-related projects through each phase of the project Lifecycle.
